Trisha Krishnan was born on 4 May 1983 in Palakkad, Kerala, India as Trisha Krishnamurthy. (Tamil: த்ரிஷா கிருஷ்ணமூர்தி, Telugu: త్రిష క్రిష్ణమూర్తి). Her mother tongue is Tamil. She is a prominent actress in both Tamil and Telugu film industries. She rose to fame with her roles in Tamil movies, Saamy and Ghilli.
